Why the Change?

We’re always looking for ways to optimize our services. With this update, our focus has been on two key areas:

  • Balancing Point Distribution: For businesses operating in regions with lower-valued currencies, this update is a game-changer. It’s designed to prevent point inflation, ensuring a fair and balanced rewards system for everyone.
  • Flexible Rules for Earning Points: The update introduces the ability to specify which products or collections are included or excluded from earning points. It’s all about giving store owners the freedom to tailor their loyalty programs as they see fit.

Implementation Timeline

  • For New Installations: The update takes effect on April 11, 2024, for stores that install BON Loyalty after this date.
  • For Existing Users: If you’ve already enabled the loyalty program, please review and update your store settings before May 10, 2024. Post this date, we’ll automatically apply the new logic to your store.

Note: If you prefer to stick with the current system, no worries! Just contact us via help@bonloyalty.com, and we’ll assist you further.
