Points accumulated must be <strong>equal to or greater<\/strong> than the Entry Requirement to reach a tier.<\/p><p><strong>IMPORTANT NOTES<\/strong>:<\/p><ul><li>Points earned from the <em>Happy Birthday<\/em> action are <strong>not<\/strong> counted toward a customer\u2019s Tier evaluation. Their points earned for tier progress remain unchanged, and <strong>their tier will not be downgraded<\/strong> due to redemption.<\/li><\/ul><p><b>2. Money Spent:<\/b><\/p><ul><li>Customers use the <strong>accumulated spending<\/strong> to participate in the VIP Tier program. The amount spent accumulated must be <strong>equal to or greater<\/strong> than the entry requirement to reach a tier.<\/li><li>The currency is automatically detected according to the default currency of the merchant.<\/li><li>Customers&#8217; spending will be counted in their tier progress once the order is <strong>fulfilled<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><div><p><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> If a customer reaches a Tier but later <strong>cancels or returns<\/strong> an order, they will be <strong>moved to the closest Tier that matches their updated points or spending<\/strong>. This ensures their Tier status accurately reflects their current progress.<\/p><\/div><p><strong>B. Milestone (Duration)<\/strong><\/p><p>Merchants can choose between:<\/p><p><strong>1.\u00a0Lifetime:<\/strong> Customers keep their tier status permanently.<\/p><p><strong>2.\u00a0Rolling year:<\/strong> Customers&#8217; tier status lasts 365 days from their latest Tier upgrade. Each Tier upgrade renews the 365-day period. You can choose different methods of maintenance for the customers&#8217; tier after a rolling year.<\/p><h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"a_No_tier_maintenance\"><\/span>a. No tier maintenance<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4><p>By the end of the 365-day cycle, if they don\u2019t upgrade within this period, their tier status will be reset to the <strong>lowest tier.<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Example<\/span>:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Single-tier upgrade<\/strong>: A customer upgrades to Silver Tier on <strong>Jan 1, 2024<\/strong>. If they don\u2019t upgrade to a higher tier within 365 days, they are downgraded to the lowest tier on <strong>Dec 31, 2024<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Multiple-tier upgrades<\/strong>: A customer upgrades to Silver Tier on <strong>Jan 1, 2024<\/strong>, then reaches Gold Tier on <strong>June 1, 2024<\/strong>. Their Gold Tier status is extended until <strong>June 1, 2025<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p><b>NOTE:<\/b> Upon resetting the tier after 365 days, all customers will be placed into the lowest Tier. If this lowest Tier has an entry requirement above 0 and the customer hasn\u2019t met the required points or spending threshold, their Tier will be marked as \u2018None\u2019.<\/p><h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"b_Auto_tier_maintenance\"><\/span>b. Auto tier maintenance<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4><p>Customers will be re-assigned to a tier based on their <strong>actual progress recorded at the end of the cycle<\/strong> (calculated via total spending or total points earned).<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Example<\/span>: Let&#8217;s say <strong>Bronze = $50, Silver = $250, Gold = $500, Platinum = $1000.<\/strong><\/p><p>Alex spends <strong>$600<\/strong> on Jan 1, 2024 and upgrads to the Gold tier. After a rolling year period with Gold tier (Jan 1 &#8211; December 31, 2024):<\/p><ul><li>If Alex <strong>does not<\/strong> manage to upgrade to Platinum tier but his accumulated progress meets the entry requirement for Gold (he spends\u00a0<strong>another $500<\/strong> by December 31, 2024), he can <strong>maintain the Gold tier<\/strong> for another 365 days (Jan 1, 2025 &#8211; Dec 31, 2025).<\/li><li>If Alex <strong>neither upgrades to Platinum tier nor spends enough $500<\/strong> by Dec 31, 2024, he will be placed into the appropriate tier for which his progress meets the entry requirements -&gt; If he just spends <strong>another $300<\/strong> by Dec 31, 2024, he will be downgraded to <strong>Silver<\/strong> on Jan 1, 2025.<\/li><\/ul><h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"c_Manual_tier_maintenance\"><\/span>c.
