Why do we make layout change for embedded app?
In order to improve the responsiveness of our app and increase customers’ experience using our application, we decided to embed our app using Shopify App Bridge and BON is now a Shopify embedded app. As BON has been embedded to Shopify, there are some small changes made to the layout of the app. Please rest assured that these changes are minor and might not disturb your previous experience using BON so far.
What are the changes?
Navigation bar: Instead of the vertical original navigation bar in BON in app, the new Navigation bar will appear at the top of the page. At the same time, the order of the tab has also changed. Specifically, the Customer tab is now the second tab after the Dashboard.
Point programs: the ポイントプログラム tab is the third folder in the Navigation bar and contains the detailed configurations for your program: Earn points, Redeem points, 紹介プログラム and VIP tiers.
There will be 3 options for you to let your customers share your referral link: Facebook, Twitter and Email.
紹介プログラム: 紹介プログラム used to be an earning rule which you can edit in the Earn points tab. However, it is now a separate tab in the Point program tab, where you can manage all rules and actions for your customers to earn points by referring your store and customize your referral program appearance.
VIPレベル: Vip Tiers has also been moved from Customer tab to Point Program tab.
Although the position of certain tabs has been changed, the functions of each tab will not be different from the previous layout. We hope that with BON being a Shopify embedded app, we can bring you a flawless experience using the app in the future.
