Merchants can now view loyalty point balances and redeem rewards on behalf of customers directly within the Shopify Customer Admin interface.

What’s changing

• In-admin point management: Merchants can seamlessly check a customer’s total points and redeem rewards on their behalf while managing their profile in Shopify Customer Admin.
• Reward cancellation & revert: If a reward is redeemed by mistake, merchants can easily cancel it via the ‘Undone’ button. This immediately deletes the generated discount code and reverts the redeemed points back to the customer’s balance.

Why this matters

This empowers merchant support teams to assist shoppers faster during phone/chat support interactions directly from the native Shopify Admin, with an easy safety net to undo accidental redemptions.
