BON Loyalty now supports subscription-based orders, meaning you can confidently run a loyalty program even when selling through subscription models. Thanks to our integration with subscription apps, your customers can still earn points on completed subscription orders—helping you build long-term relationships and drive recurring engagement.

Currently, BON is compatible with Recurpay and Seal Subscriptions, ensuring that subscription orders from these apps are recognized and rewarded automatically.
Since subscription apps work differently from other app types, this guide will walk you through how the integration works—so you can continue building customer loyalty, even with recurring orders.
Integration Logic & Setup Guide
BON Loyalty connects with subscription apps through Shopify’s data system. When a subscription order is successfully processed, Shopify sends the order data to BON, and BON will then reward points accordingly. This indirect integration ensures that your subscription customers are still rewarded without requiring any manual setup.
1.Install both BON Loyalty and the Subscription app
To enable the integration:
- Simply install both BON Loyalty and a supported subscription app on your Shopify store. Currently, BON guarantees compatibility with Recurpay and Seal Subscriptions — other apps may not be fully supported or may not transmit subscription data reliably to BON.
- There is no need to click “Integrate now” inside BON. The system automatically detects when both apps are present.
2. Subscription order data is shared through Shopify
- When a customer is successfully charged for a subscription order, Shopify sends the order details to BON automatically. BON will then recognize the order and give points based on your “Complete an order” rule—just like with regular orders.
- You do not need to configure any custom integration settings for this process to work.
Important Notes:
- Discounts from BON cannot be applied to subscription orders. Only standard (non-subscription) orders can use BON discount rewards.
- Only paid subscription orders will trigger the “Complete an order” reward.
BON does not connect to Recurpay or Seal Subscriptions through a direct integration. Instead, all subscription order data is transmitted via Shopify’s system. As long as both apps are installed, BON will automatically detect and process eligible subscription orders
