The monthly order limit is a key metric that tracks how many orders in your store are eligible to earn points through BON. Let’s dive into the details to help you understand how it works.

When does BON count the number of orders?

What is the monthly order limit?

BON will count all orders (online, offline, all sales channels) that are recorded in your Shopify store, regardless of their status (e.g., canceled, refunded, voided, fulfilled, or unfulfilled).

The monthly order limit is the maximum number of orders that BON can process within a 30-day cycle, according to your specific pricing plan:

  • Free Forever: 250 orders/month
  • Basic: 500 orders/month
  • Growth: 無制限
  • Professional: 無制限

While the counter might seem daunting, you just need to track these two key metrics:

  • Monthly order limit: The total number of orders your plan allows each month.
  • Order limit remain: The number of orders left until you reach your limit for the cycle.

How does the monthly order limit affect my loyalty program?

Once your store reaches or exceeds the monthly order limit, the following features will stop generating points and rewards:

  • The Complete an Order point-earning action
  • The Referral Program

IMPORTANT NOTE: The order limit in BON does not affect the total number of orders your store can receive on Shopify. It only impacts how points and rewards are generated for the loyalty activities mentioned above.

When does BON count the number of orders?

BON will count all orders that are recorded in your Shopify store, regardless of their status (e.g., canceled, voided, refunded, fulfilled, or unfulfilled)

Application for each plan

Examples

For paid plans (Basic, Growth, Professional): Orders are counted after the end of the free trial period and after the loyalty program status is enabled.

If the plan is activated on April 12, and the free trial ends on April 15, with the program status enabled on the same day, orders will be counted from April 15.

For the free plan (Free Forever): Orders are counted after you activate the program status.

If the plan is activated on April 12 and the program status is enabled on April 15, orders will be counted from April 15.

BON Pro Tip: To activate the program status, go to BON > その他の·設定 > Loyalty Program status > Turn on.

The order limit resets every 30 days, starting from when the orders were first counted.

  • For example: If counting starts on June 15, the limit will reset on July 15, and then again on August 14 (since July has 31 days).

If you change plans during a cycle, the remaining order count will carry over and not reset.

  • For example: If you’re on the Free Forever plan with 125 remaining orders left until the limit is reached, and you switch to the Basic plan, you’ll start from having 125 left orders, not 500 (which is the order count limit in the Basic plan).
