Integration requirements

Integrating BON Loyalty with DotDigital allows users to synchronize BON Loyalty information to customer profiles on DotDigital. Users can utilize synced information from BON to:

Segment customers based on accumulated points and Tier
Include loyalty information in email campaigns.

To ensure a successful integration, BON’s merchants are required to:

Customers must have an account in DotDigital.
The email used by the merchant to create the API Key must match the email used to create the store on Shopify.

How to integrate with Dotdigital

1. Setting up in Dotdigital

Step 1: Access DotDigital > Settings > Access

Step 2: In Access tab > Choose API users

Step 3: Create ‘New user’ > Fill in the form (The username is set by default with the ending ‘apiconnector.com’ and cannot be changed)

Step 4: Double-check the user profile and click Save.

2. Setting up in BON Loyalty

Once your profile has been created, you can now go back to BON Loyalty to complete this integration.
In BON Loyalty, access the Integrations section from the left menu > select DotDigital

Next, enter the user email and Password > hit the Connect button > enable the status.

3. Sync data to Dotdigital

Once connected to Klaviyo successfully, BON will start syncing data from the BON app to Dotdigital. Data being synced will include

Points balances
Referral URLs
Customer’s tier
Birthday
