After installation, BON will automatically sync the default store currency that merchants set in the Shopify store’s admin page and use only this default currency for future rewarding activities.

If you have successfully changed the default currency in the Shopify admin, please contact BON Support to adjust the currency used in the Loyalty program accordingly, otherwise, all rewards will be calculated based on the old currency.
Shopify doesn’t support multi-currency; therefore, some merchants install a third-party app to sell in multiple currencies. However, currency conversion with 3rd-party apps is entirely under Shopify’s control, and BON does not interfere with this process. BON app only processes reward points redemption transactions with the default currency. Don’t worry, this won’t affect your multi-currency sales.
For example: in your store, “dollar” is the default currency, “euro” is the currency generated by a 3rd-party app. When customers purchase in euro, Shopify automatically converts euro into dollar and sends the merchant the order’s sales. The BON app calculates reward points for buyer actions based on dollar.
Note: Please remember to adjust the currency in the widget text tab according to the new currency.
