By rewarding their customers on their birthdays, a loyalty program can build a strong relationship with customers. To enable this earning point option, go to Point program > Earn points.
Note: Happy birthday rule is available from the Lite plan. To try this feature, check out our plans here.
Important reminder:
- Customers will be rewarded exactly on the birthday date, not right after they enter the date.
Example: Today (12th May), customer Ivy enters her birthday date to be 5th December.
On 5th December, she will receive her Happy Birthday point reward.
- You can decide to not reward customers for their birthday, if they enter a date that is in the next 30 days – by ticking the checkbox.
If not, they will be rewarded on this year.
Example: Today (12th May 2023), customer Ivy enters her birthday date to be 20th May (a date which is in the next 30 days)
If the checkbox is ticked: Ivy receives the points on 20th May 2024
If the checkbox is not ticked: Ivy receives the points on 20th May 2023
- Customers can only receive Happy birthday reward once a year. Even if customer changes the date after, they will not earn the reward again.
On the customer’s end, they will go to Earn points tab > Click Enter info on Happy Birthday rule > Fill the information > Click Save.
