Customers can exchange their earned points for a free product discount code – which can be applied to one specific product only.
To set up this option in BON, click on Point program > Redeem points > Add more > Choose “Free product“:
Inside the Free product option setting, you need to edit these details:
- Reward Title: Recommended to have the product name listed in the title
- Choose the product for this rule
Example: When you set the “Bracelet” product for this discount code, customers can only use this code when buying the “Bracelet” product.
- Points amount and the discount value
- Reward expiration: Set how many days this discount is expired after redeeming.
- Select variant or select all.
How the variant(s) setting affects the discount value
- Select all option
The discount code can apply to all variants of that product. If a customer buys 3 or all variants, the discount value will be divided by 3 or all of those variants.
Customers can click on the information icon, next to the disscount option, to see this:
In this example, the Free Product rule is set for a 60 EUR value.
If a customer buys all 6 variants of this perfume product, 60 EUR will be divided equally for each variant:
Select a variant(s) option:
This discount code can apply to only one or many variants of the product, that you’ve selected.
For example, in the screenshot below, I’ve set this discount code to be applied for “L’autre Ôud” perfume type only:
