How "Subscribe to newsletter" rule works
In order to earn points for this rule, the customer will need to follow these steps below:
- Go to the widget/ the loyalty page
- Sign in/ create a new account
- Click on the Do it now button, next to the rule title:
After the action is done successfully, the customer’s email subscription status (in Shopify menu > Customer) will be updated to “Subscribed”:
What email campaign are they subscribed to?
They will be subscribed to Shopify Email, which you can find at Shopify menu > Campaign.
Note: For the “Subscribe to newsletter” rule, Shopify Email is the only app we are currently integrating with.
